Privacy
Teacorps applications collect nothing about you.
There is no Teacorps account, no analytics, no telemetry and no advertising. What you make in an application stays on your computer unless you send it to someone yourself.
Doti, Jujiang, Nelabu, iris and binarty never use the network.
Aurore uses your camera on your computer only. Nothing it sees leaves the computer, and it keeps raw recordings only when you ask it to.
Nemest, COMCOM and theGame connect people directly to each other, with no Teacorps server in between. To find one another they use public services, which see your IP address:
- Nemest asks your router to open a port (UPnP, NAT-PMP) and asks public STUN servers (Google, Cloudflare, Nextcloud) which address the internet sees. If you install the Mojo compiler from Nemest, it downloads from Modular and GitHub.
- COMCOM sends messages, calls and files directly between members, end-to-end encrypted. Members exchange a short address note through the public ntfy.sh service, sealed so that ntfy.sh cannot read it, and ask public STUN servers which address the internet sees. The microphone is used only during a call you start.
- theGame finds players through the PeerJS server (0.peerjs.com). Your player profile and game results are shared with the players you play; your player key never leaves your computer.
